Can herpes be transmitted sharing glass?

Hi doctor,

I am concerned and overthinking everything. Two days ago, someone drank from my glass. The next day, this person had sores in their mouth. I am worried if I will get herpes. But the other day, I masturbated using saliva. I still do not have any discomfort, blisters, tingling, or burning sensation around my lips. I am scared that I will also get infected with herpes. What are the possibilities? Is it possible that I have it even if I do not have any symptoms around my lips? I always experience symptoms of viral infections even before the usual incubation period. Is it conceivable that I transferred it to my genitals in this case?

How to prevent the symptoms of piles from recurring?

Hi doctor,

I am having a problem with piles. I have mild bleeding only at the time of defecation which is seen on the toilet paper while wiping. There is no bleeding seen on my stool. Sometimes, I have constipation. But my motion is not hard. I am facing this issue for six months. It happened three to four times in the last six months. I have sharp pain only at the time of defecation. Right now, I am taking Arshkalp tablet twice a day and Abhayarishta along with amla juice in the early morning on an empty stomach for the last 20 days. I have some relief. I do not have any bleeding after taking these medications. But I am afraid whether it can come back after stopping them. Are these medicines safe for long-term use? How long it takes to get rid of it after taking these ayurvedic medicines? Please mention the duration of these medicines.

Can a dental procedure cause TMJ pain?

Hello doctor,

I underwent a dental procedure last week and was prescribed two 5mg Diazepam tablets to take prior to the procedure. The last dose of Diazepam I took was on Tuesday morning, which was five days ago. I would like to know if it is safe for me to take a tablet of Co-codamol for pain relief. The reason behind this is that I believe my previous temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder has flared up again, and Co-codamol used to be the only painkiller that provided relief. I have been suffering from TMJ disorder for the past 11 years, and the last flare-up was seven years ago. Currently, I am not taking any other medications. My height is 5 feet 5 inches, and I weigh approximately 200 pounds. Thank you.
