Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had unprotected sex recently and I took an I-pill right after it. Later I got my period eight days early. I had been bleeding for eight days. Now my period is due this month. I did a pregnancy test and it was negative. What should I do now? When will my period come? I took Deviry 10 mg for five days twice a day. Today I got light blood spots. Are those periods? Is everything normal? When will I get a regular flow like before? I am also getting cramps. Please help.

Regarding your symptoms of delayed menses, I suggest you have developed a hormone imbalance. please do a hormone profile test and if normal please take the following for the menses. Your question if spotting is period, my answer is no it is not. You will get your period I suggest you take the drugs
1. Capsule. Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid) 625 mg orally twice a day.
2. Tablet. Medroxyprogesterone 10 mg everyday.
3. Tablet. Norethisterone (lactose, maize starch and magnesium stearate) 5 mg orally.
If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation. I hope this helps.
