Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from erectile dysfunction and I am taking Tetrafol and Bupron to cure it. Just a few days back, I started herbal treatment also, but after two days of taking it, I feel like I am losing my erection. So, I stopped taking it. The herbal medicine was unlabelled. When will I recover my erection back?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

We are here to help you.

First of all, we need to evaluate whether your erectile dysfunction is psychological in nature or if any pathological cause lies behind it. Taking multivitamins is not going to help you. So, I suggest you do the following tests.

1. Color Doppler of penile vessels.

2. Fasting blood sugar.

3. Thyroid profile.

If everything comes out to be normal, this is psychological erectile dysfunction. The best therapy is to stop thinking about it. I would recommend you take a tablet of Tadalafil (phosphodiesterase inhibitor) 10 milligrams an hour prior to intercourse and you will surely get an erection.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

I hope it helps you.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

It is a psychological effect. My concern is that the side effects of any medicines either allopathic or herbal go after how many days?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

The side effect would go away in two to three days. You may take Tadalafil for erection.

Do not worry.

If you have any further queries, please ask me.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
