Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I always feel bloated. I feel like my food is not getting digested properly. I feel like having fake burps, acidity, and food will get out by vomiting. Why is this happening? Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
You are having a functional indigestion problem. You can be prescribed Zexid syrup, which contains Magaldrate and Simethicone. It is also better to take Rabeprazole antacid due to the associated acidity problem. Practice following measures to help with indigestion and bloating;
1. Eat slowly.
2. Avoid intake of excess fatty and spicy foods.
3. Keep carbonated drink intake within the limit.
4. Avoid smoking if you have the habit.
5. Gas-forming foods like cabbage, cauliflower, turnip and onion should be restricted.
6. Drink more water.
If there is no improvement, consult a physician for an examination and get your ultrasonography done. I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards.
