Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had irregular period problems, and for the last three months I have not had a period. Last 1.5 months ago I had cramps and had minute bleeding for a few hours only. I am sexually active with a partner, unfortunately, I had unprotected sex last month. I took an I-pill after four to five hours of sex. I got very bad cramps a day after but did not get bleeding, cramps started again.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern. Regarding your symptoms of irregular menses, abdominal cramps, and intake of contraceptive pills after unprotected sexual activities, I propose you have a developed hormone imbalance with possible pelvic inflammatory disease. Please do a hormone profile test, high vaginal and endo cervical swab test, pregnancy test and reply me with the result and please take the following for your symptoms:
Tablet Albuterol 4 mg PO (orally) three times a day.
Capsule Co-Amoxiclav 625 mg PO twice a day.
Tablet Piroxicam 40 mg PO three times a day.
Tablet Medroxyprogesterone 10 mg once daily.
Tablet Norethisterone 5 mg PO.
If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
Regards.
