Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 32-year-old male experiencing premature ejaculation, and I am seeking assistance to overcome this problem. I encountered this issue six years ago and tried timing tablets once, but unfortunately, the problem resurfaced after some time. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern about your symptoms.

There are various reasons for premature ejaculation:

  1. Stressful work conditions, such as night shifts or twenty-four-hour jobs.
  2. Conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid issues can affect premature ejaculation. Keeping blood sugar, blood pressure, and thyroid hormones under control can be beneficial.
  3. Long-term use of medications for hypertension and certain psychiatric conditions.
  4. Frequent masturbation or prone masturbation.
  5. Excessive exposure to pornography.
  6. Insufficient foreplay or lack of knowledge about foreplay and female masturbation.
  7. Feelings of guilt in the context of an affair.
  8. Lack of exercise and obesity.

I would suggest you check FBS (fasting blood sugar) and PPBS (postprandial blood sugar) for diabetes, monitor your blood pressure and assess free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels to rule out thyroid issues.

As a temporary solution, you can consider using the tablet Duralast (Dapoxetine) 30 mg.

Here are some natural methods for you to try:

  1. Increase foreplay: Both partners should engage in sufficient foreplay. Women should receive 15 to 20 minutes, and men should receive 10 to 15 minutes for good blood supply to the penis. Foreplay should be done in a relaxed manner.
  2. Use relaxing music: Incorporating relaxing music during intimate moments can help.
  3. Delay condoms: Using delayed condoms can be helpful.

Remember, penetration is not the sole focus of sexual activity. Take your time, and prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of both partners. Love and understanding between partners play a major role in overcoming this issue.

I hope these suggestions are helpful.

Thank you.
