Common "Septoplasty" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Septoplasty

The nasal septum divides the nasal cavity into two portions. A deviation in this septum might cause one nasal canal to be narrow. In order to correct this deviation, septoplasty is done. Submucous septal resection is done, and reconstruction of the septum is made in this surgery. Septoplasty drawbacks are changes in the shape of the nose, decrease smell sensations, infection, etc.
