Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 25-year-old and I am married. I had sex a few times, but I reached my orgasm in around two minutes or less. After orgasm, I continued to help my wife reach orgasm, and my erection went away. I just wanted to ask if this is normal and please let me know what I can do to improve the time to help my wife reach her orgasm.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

There are many reasons for premature ejaculation such as:

  1. Stressful work.

  2. Diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid issues.

  3. On long-term medications related to hypertension or taking antipsychotic medications.

  4. Frequent masturbation or prone masturbation.

  5. Watching excess porn.

  6. Receiving less foreplay from a partner or lack of knowledge regarding foreplay and female masturbation.

  7. Lack of exercise and obesity.

  8. You need to check FBS (fasting blood sugar), PPBS (post-prandial blood sugar to rule out diabetes, elevated blood pressure, and free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) to rule out thyroid issues.

  9. You can use the tablet Duralast (Dapoxetine) 30 mg as a temporary solution.

  10. To increase the foreplay duration during sex, women should receive 15 to 20 minutes of foreplay, and men should receive 10 to 15 minutes of foreplay for a good blood supply to the penis to maintain a long and hard erection. Foreplay should be relaxed. Your partner should learn to give foreplay in a way you do not ejaculate and instead enjoy.

  11. You can try relaxing music.

  12. Delayed condoms can help you.

  13. Inserting the penis into the vagina is not everything in sex. Love your partner, learn about female masturbation, and give your partner an orgasm or climax.

I hope this information will help you. Do revert in case of any further queries.

Thank you.
